Localization Project Manager (Part time) Lingotek
Job Description:Lingotek is seeking project managers to manage translation and localization projects.
Reports to Director or Translation Services
Comfortable working with other Project Managers and Translators
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities:
Manage translation and localization projects from beginning to end, developing project plans and workflows, then managing time, budget, resources, and quality control. Manage projects to localize software, websites, multimedia, and documentation. Guide translation vendors and clients through the localization process. Identify and document opportunities to improve processes and technologies.
Requirements:
Experience managing localization projects
Proficiency in English at least one other language
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (proficiency in desktop publishing tools a plus, but not required)
Proficiency in at least one translation memory software application
Willingness to learn Lingotek?s technology
Organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and good at working in a team
Education/Training:
B.S/B.A. degree in languages or business or a related field (M.A./M.Sc./M.B.A in a related field is a plus, but not required)
