Zipcar is seeking an exceptional talent to take on the exciting role of Locations Coordinator in the Washington DC office. This role will report to the Locations Manager. He or she will be responsible for aiding the Locations Manager in all aspects of local locations operations. He or she must build solid relationships with parking vendors and ensure great location experiences for members, while reducing costs and maximizing revenue.
Assigns and prioritizes daily tasks to Locations Associates.
Works with Locations Manager in keeping parking costs below budget.
Ensures locations are member ready and follow Zipcar guidelines.
Ensures local market is compliant with all parking contracts.
Creates new location pages in Zipcar website.
Maintains relationships with local parking vendors.
Responds to member requests for new locations and specific makes/models of Zipcars.
Completes special projects assigned by General Manager and Locations Manager.
Sends inventory and payment reports to vendors and corporate office as requested.
Scouts potential new Zipcar locations.
Four year college degree in related field, preferred.
Prior management experience, preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to signage materials and displays.
Experience in fast-paced environment.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to simultaneously coordinate daily tasks while integrating longer-term project goal

Planning/organizing - The individual is self-directed and prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance. The successful candidate must meet Zipcar's membership requirements.
