Zipcar is seeking an exceptional talent to take on the exciting role of Locations Manager in the Boston office. This role will report to the General Manager. He or she will be responsible for growing the footprint of the local market. He or she must also build solid relationships with parking vendors/municipalities and ensure great location experiences for members, while reducing costs and maximizing revenue.
Strategically place fleet to maximize vehicle utilization and revenue.
Ensure Zipcar locations follow Zipcar merchandising guidelines.
Ensures local market is compliant with all parking contracts.
Creates new location pages in Zipcar website.
Maintains and establishes relationships with key local parking vendors and municipalities.
Completes special projects assigned by General Manager.
Sends inventory and payment reports to vendors and corporate office as requested.
Scouts potential new Zipcar locations.
Four year college degree.
Prior management experience, preferred.
Experience in fast-paced environment.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to simultaneously coordinate daily tasks while integrating longer-term project goal
Strong negotiation skills.

Oral communication - Individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.
Planning/organizing - The individual is self-directed and prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance. The successful candidate must meet Zipcar's membership requirements.
