Summary:
The Placing Manager assists the Operations Manager in the daily management of a sales team. Responsible for his/her own desk and the production and performance of other sales people. Adheres to company mission and values.
Job Duties:
Essential -
? Assist in the coaching and training of team members.
? Participate and conduct individual performance appraisals of consultants and take action needed in regard to consultants? progress/results when managing direct reports.
? Complete the internal LEAD program as outlined.
? Participate and conduct daily scheduling meetings to determine consultant?s daily recruiting plan.
? Participate and complete Placing Manager skill checklist as outlined in a 12 month period.
? Participate in working his/her own desk as a sales consultant. Sales and management responsibilities to be determined based on size of team and number of direct reports.
? As part of skill set training, spend minimum of 90 days learning provider side and 90 days learning client side.
? Other projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Skills:
Essential -
? Accurately manipulate information utilizing a large-scale database system.
? Professional level written and oral communication skills.
? Effective negotiation skills.
? Experience in provision of customer service.
? Efficiently manage large amounts of information.
? Complete LEAP management evaluation and training program
Experience & Education:
Essential-
? Minimum of two years in the direct sales of products or services.
Non-essential -
? College level education.
? Experience in the health care industry.
? Experience in the sale of professional services.
? Experience in recruitment or staffing.
? Minimum of one year in a management and/or supervisory position, preferably within a sales or service department.
Abilities:
Essential -
? Strong management and communication skills.
? Well developed administrative skills.
? Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
? Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Non-essential -
? Previous management experience.
