Job Purpose
Assist with research trial activity for the laboratory including assembling kits, distributing kits worldwide, tracking kits, and receiving and logging in patient specimens and general supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to multi-task on a daily basis, prioritize project goals, and meet customer demands. This includes, but is not limited to:
Assembling kits
Distributing kits
Tracking kits
Receiving, inspecing, and logging in patient specimens
Monitoring clinical site inventories and replenishing/refreshing supplies as necessary
Coordinating sample shipment/receipt with clinical sites and package carriers
Picking up samples locally
Assisting the laboratory in non-core tasks as necessary
Communicating with package carriers and customers
This position also includes receiving laboratory supplies and maintaining an organized and safe lab environment by helping to enforce GCP/CLIA compliance.
Must own a vehicle and have a valid driver?s license as the position involves sample pickup.
Qualifications
Qualifications and minimum requirements include:
Education ? B.A., B.S., or equivalent experience required
Specialized knowledge ? experience with information management systems is helpful
Skills ? good organizational and people skills. Good computer skills with mid- to advanced-level in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
Abilities ? must be able to communicate effectively with employees and Company management.
Professional Certification ? none specified.
Experience ? zero to two years? experience.
Working Conditions
Job requires local travel and possible long hours and work in the evenings/weekends.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to life 25-50lbs freight as needed.
