Experience with basic maintenance, cleaning and packing tools.
Education: High School Degree & Some College Experience
Can type 40 WPM
Essential Department Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned as required.
Schedule maintenance and minor-major repairs to assure facilities are operating safely and efficiently. Oversee repairs when possible.
Perform minor repairs as needed or assigned (example = using a step-ladder to change out light bulbs).
Ensure hired vendors are providing accurate services.
Perform frequent facility and furniture assessments (roof included), identifying and correcting hazards and problem areas.
Respond quickly and professionally to internal requests and communicate updates throughout the completion of the request.
Assist and guide internal and external clients with order processes, systems and procedures; modify as necessary in order to maximize efficiencies.
Resolve customer problems & complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
Create, submit and fulfill purchase order requests.
Maintain office, maintenance and janitorial supply stock levels.
Enforce the parking program policies and monitor the parking lots.
Remove overflowing recyclable material to recycle bin as needed.
Distribute, ship, track and re-route mail and packages.
Keep office spaces tidy and organized.
Create reports as requested by the Logistics manager.

Possesses a basic understanding of how to safely use packing tools.

Lifting: Raising objects ranging from 1lb ? 50lbs. from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and sit at a desk, read and comprehend reason and analyze, use fine finger movements, and see, talk and hear.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY: This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager and has no direct management responsibility. This individual will take direction, but need to be able to make decisions on behalf of the department.
