Description
Duties include:
Conducting underwriting surveys to obtain general rating information and to evaluate accounts
Provide consultant services in support of accounts safety programs
Provide training seminars concerning various subjects including employee safety, fire safety, fleet safety and life safety
Conduct safety audits to evaluate insureds loss control programs
Complete accident analyses to identify loss trends and make corrective recommendations
Provide written loss prevention recommendations to accounts to minimize loss exposures
Review insured records for testing of fire protection systems.
Qualified candidates must have:
Bachelor?s Degree, Engineering preferred
CFPS and or P.E. desirable
Seven to ten years experience in the insurance industry/risk management.
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages
5 + years specialty property or equivalent (HPR) property loss control field inspection experience
Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite
Have strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ten years experience in a safety position responsible for provision of safety training and inspections.
Commit to pursuing professional designations such as Associate Risk Management. Associate Safety professional, and Certified safety professional
Minimum of 50% travel required.
