The LTE Stack Architect will work on a very novel LTE product. They will integrate, design, and/or implement sub-systems of an LTE UE and/or eNB stack. They will work on L2 and L3 subsystems for both the data and control plane of an LTE UE and/or eNB, and architect/design new features as needed. They will have a solid understanding of L1 fundamentals. They will work with a software team, hardware team, and product team to develop specifications, requirements, and produce feature roadmaps.
Integrate, design, and/or implement LTE protocol stack sub-systems for UE and/or eNB in L2/L3 layers
Review and/or produce design documentation
Collaborate with product team to define feature roadmaps and select appropriate development platforms
Use software development best practices including revision control, test-driven development, etc.
Create system test plans for debug, verification, and calibration of system performance.
4+ years experience in cellular protocol stack development across multiple layers (LTE experience preferred)
4+ years of design, implementation, and test of L2/L3 cellular modem software
Strong fundamental C/C++ abilities and a passion for great software architecture
Experience with Embedded Systems bringup/development
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering
Fluent in spoken and written English
