The Maintenance Lead:Oversees, trains, and coaches other Maintenance personnel daily
Troubleshoots and correctly identifies maintenance problems/solutions
Ensures workplace compliance to ModSpace safety and environmental programs
Inspects modular units and recommends repairs to meet business standards
Orders and maintains inventory of repair and parts supplies
Enters job scope and time into computer and completes inspection and repair paperwork
Ensures quality compliance
Oversees projects and vendor work
Communicates with customers
Maintains shipping and receiving files
Performs needed repairs (i.e. carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing) without instruction
Performs repairs, maintenance, and cleaning on branch facility/yard as required
Cleans modular unit with industrial strength products
Operates onsite vehicles to move parts or equipment
Operates service trucks as needed to pick up and/or deliver parts or equipment
Performs other duties and projects as assigned
:
A successful Maintenance Lead:
Has a minimum of 8 years of general maintenance/carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
Has knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical systems, and plumbing
Is focused on customer service
Prioritizes tasks and manages time to meet deadlines
Lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds
Performs job responsibilities without supervision
Shows up for work as scheduled and on time
Works with others in a professional manner
Works in accordance with established safety procedures
Has basic reading and writing skills
Has basic computer skills and can learn new systems
Holds a Valid Driver?s License
Works overtime as needed
Has a High School Diploma or GED - preferred
Has manual construction and/or multi-modular unit experience - preferred
