Major Account Manager - Channel Sales
We are looking for a talented Channel Sales - Major Account Manager to join our fast paced team.
You will be given a high level of responsibility and a high degree of autonomy to create success. What you will do and what you will bring to the team:
You will manage one of Sunrun?s national partner relationships.
You will play a major role in growing Sunrun?s and our partner?s business with strategic planning, problem solving and effective communication.
You will be confident and extremely adept at working with and influencing C-level management, giving presentations, and motivating key stakeholders.
You will be an organized team leader with the ability to direct multifaceted internal and external teams to maintain the focus of driving all efforts to delivering on the partnership strategy.
You will have an attention to details, perseverance and follow through. As well as possess the ability to work quickly and efficiently, mange time and work deadlines.
You are a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; is capable of harvesting new relationships and developing existing relationships; and has the talent to influence high performing sales teams.
Responsibilities:
Work with Sunrun?s Regional Directors of Channel Sales to understand and influence key partnership strategies and metrics.
Develop and execute joint business plans to drive revenue and market share and that supports Sunrun?s stated goal for the partnership.
Own and responsibility achieves all monthly, quarterly and yearly sales quotas.
Accurately forecast on weekly, monthly quarterly bases incorporating and analyzing historic sales data, comparative competitive and general market data.
Work with regional market managers and other key sales team members to achieve sales goals and market expansion requirements.
Lead an internal team that includes sales management, marketing, customer service, operations and finance to ensure a best in class partner experience.
Represent Sunrun in all executive meetings, communications and manage day-to-day business issues.
Build, manage and support Channel Partners? sales expertise and sales volume.
Qualifications:
7-10 years of related sales and account management experience.
Minimum of 2 years? experience selling via indirect channels such as authorized dealers and distributors
Experience in business to consumer selling environments is a definite advantage
Possess an understanding of business economics with demonstrated ability to assess a partner?s business and jointly develop successful strategies that positively impacts all aspects of the partner?s P&L
Knowledge of and experience with a broad spectrum of sales methodologies and practices
Ability to be successful in an environment of continuous improvements and stretch targets
Ability to analyze information and data, draw conclusions and develop key insights. Most specifically the ability to structure problems and identify solutions/deliverables
Well educated, having at least a Bachelors of Science or Arts Degree under your belt
Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to travel 30% domestic travel within assigned area
Expert in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com
