We are seeking candidates to become part of the Proofpoint Major Accounts enterprise sales team. The candidate will focus on approximately 18 large accounts in Illinois and Minnesota. Looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record selling 7-figure deals to large commercial major accounts. This is an individual contributor role; and you will be responsible for articulating and presenting Proofpoint's value proposition across the entire product line. You will handle entire sales cycle from opportunity management to booking. Participate and assist in marketing initiatives to generate demand and increase awareness. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date forecast.Responsibilities:
Expanding Proofpoint's penetration of large existing customers,
Securing large renewals with the existing customer base,
Identifying, developing, and closing new business across a group of additional named new accounts.
Requirements:
Proven track record of closing large (seven figure) deals within large commercial accounts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Minimum of 15 years in enterprise sales.
Proven track record of quota attainment.
Excellent sales qualification skills.
Proficiency with Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, & Outlook.
At least 5 years of experience managing forecasts within SFDC or similar tool.
Located in the Atlanta area.
