Position Summary
Manager, Business Applications role is responsible for improving business processes, escalation support and the training of all internal business applications; by managing the administration, implementation, upgrade requirements, maintenance, and vendors of these systems as well as the workflow between the systems. This role will lead the documentation of internal company processes as well as guide business leaders on how to best re-engineer their processes to ensure they can be supported by the various Business Applications. The Manager, Business Applications will lead multiple projects to ensure the system specifications meet our business requirements.
This role reports up through the Information Technology Vice President and is responsible for direct leadership of the department. This is a highly visible position that requires a self-managed, motivated and inspirational leader who is capable of meeting deliverables in a timely manner while managing and developing a team of Business Application Administrators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

?Manage Business Applications staff with a focus on streamlining operations
?Maintain comprehensive understanding of current and future business needs
?Provide user support for Business Applications
?Provide training for new and existing software
?Install, maintain and upgrade Business Applications
?Integrate applications for bi-directional communication
?Be the system administrator and engineer responsible for the setup/configuration/programming of the tools
?Process improvement subject matter expert
?Create documentation
?Maintain a knowledge base for departments throughout the company
?Manage vendors and projects
?Works as a contributing member of the Technology team to help ensure application related practices are strategically aligned with overall business objectives.
Experience/Education/Certifications
?BA/BS desired in a Business and Computer Science field
?Minimum 7 years? work experience in a technology or manufacturing company
?Minimum 3 years of experience managing a group
?Excellent verbal and written communications skills
?Exceptional communicator who can facilitate a meaningful discussion to quickly understand how to perform the task
?Knowledge of SAAS applications
?4-5 years of experience with an ERP system
?2-3 years of experience with a CRM tool like Salesforce
?2-3 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint
?2-3 years of experience with a diagramming tool such as Visio or SmartDraw
?2-3 years of experience with database systems such as Microsoft SQL
