within the Customer Enablement group will be
responsible for managing and developing a global team of Program
Managers who sell and scope projects as well as manage projects once
engaged with the customer. This role is unique to Customer Enablement,
as such, the incumbent must be comfortable defining new roles, be a
quick learner, innovative and always striving to improve the customer
experience while meeting team revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
The Business and Program Management team is responsible
for strategy, positioning, scoping, understanding legal requirements,
forecasting and ultimately, the successful completion of projects in
tandem with the Enablement Services consulting team.
In this hybrid role you will initially be a âplayer-coachâ and
will learn and understand how we position Workday Enablement Services
through Workday counterparts, via established programs and directly
with customers.Â You'll use your consultative selling skills to
initiate discussions and youâll use your seasoned project management
skills to understand the project lifecycle, improve existing processes
and deliver projects. This role can be located at either our corporate headquarters
in Pleasanton, CA or our office in Chicago, IL.

- Manage Enablement
projects to include staffing, planning, managing meetings with
customers, dealing with escalations, and supporting the
consultants delivering the work with the goal of successful
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven ability in managing high volume services
sales cycles from start to finish, with a track record of
successful service revenue and profitability attainment.
- Ability to understand and effectively explain the benefits of
an on-demand/web services architecture.
- Ability to
- Self-starter with proven ability to
thrive and excel in a lean, fast-paced, dynamic environment with
high performance expectations.
- 3-5 years project
management experience delivering software services.
- Strong knowledge of vendors, products, and services in the HCM
and Financial On-Demand enterprise application space.
Bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is
