About the Role: Manager, Business Development
In this highly diversified role, you?ll report to the Director, Business Development and use your well-honed business acumen to identify strategic opportunities to extend the audience and revenue growth of HPMG's properties, including Huffington Post Live. Leveraging your broad knowledge of publisher platforms and technologies, content syndication and the internet advertising sector, you will identify key media and technology partners and expeditiously structure, negotiate and close partnership deals.
You will further provide strategic insights and recommendations to business leaders across HPMG?s content, product and advertising offerings and interface with our internal Legal, Technology, and Sales teams to ensure the feasibility of deals from those perspectives.
With a bachelor?s (MBA a plus) degree and 3-5 years? experience in an internet, media or technology startup environment, you are well prepared for this role. But it is your expert-level knowledge of emerging technologies, internet business models and digital media and your entrepreneurial and creative spirit that will guarantee your success. As a master communicator possessing a facility for engaging and persuading top executives, you are a natural fit for our growing organization at one of the most exciting moments in our history.
