Manager, Business Solutions Thinkvine
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED ThinkVine is actively looking for a new Manager, Business Solutions to drive new revenue for our Marketing Mix Optimization software business. As part of the business development organization, your primary responsibility is to dramatically increase the probability of closing new deals by understanding how the marketing process functions at large B-to-C enterprises and how ThinkVine?s analytic and technology capabilities can address their specific business needs.
In this cross-functional role, you will be working with the direct sales team, channel partners, and the ThinkVine Customer Success delivery teams as a true ?hybrid? in client-facing situations. Prospects, existing customers, and internal stakeholders will all look to you as a seasoned marketing consultant in addition to being an expert in predictive analytics.
To hit the ground running, you will bring a deep understanding of the overall marketing and advertising industry along with an uncanny ability to digest and present complex analytic concepts to non-technical audiences. You will also have a strong selling and storytelling sensibility that enables to uncover customer needs and product benefits to provide an individualized strategy for each sales pursuit.
Be the strategic force behind direct and partner sales
Stay ahead of industry trends in marketing, data, technology, etc. to create individualized sales strategies for each and every active sales pursuit
Tell a superior capability and value story relative to ThinkVine?s competition
Uncover specific business problems in live situations, i.e. qualifying calls and capabilities presentations that are ?home runs? for ThinkVine?s solution
Handle all questions related to ThinkVine?s methodology and clear the path for sales by overcoming any objections
?Quarterback? RFP responses in terms of overall strategy, new content creation, and overall flow
Develop industry-specific profiles and insights on how to win in each industry and own strategic competitive analysis
Partner effectively with other ThinkVine teams in delivery, marketing, lead gen, etc. to improve the overall sales process
5-10 years of experience in enterprise B-to-C marketing, consulting, advertising technology, marketing analytics, etc.
Comfortable and confident in selling to VPs, EVPs, and the C-suite, and other stakeholders (analytics, insights, agency, etc.) in the same sale cycle
Passion for predictive analytics, selling, storytelling, market dynamics and keeping up with change in a fast moving industry
Outstanding presentation and writing skills with an uncanny ability to translate complex analytic concepts into simple and digestible pieces of information
Proven ability to think strategically about each deal as a holistic challenge instead of mechanically moving it through the sales process
Instinctively hears ?the question behind the question? in live situations and uses that knowledge to our advantage in winning deals, e.g. overcoming implicit objections, mentioning competitive capabilities, etc.
Demonstrated success in being a top performer, ability to multi-task, and work with limited supervision
