Manager, Client Services Axioma Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Axioma is currently seeking a qualified (Senior) Manager, Client Services, to join the team as risk model subject matter expert. This position reports to the Senior Director, Client Services, and is based in our New York office.
Plan and lead product evaluations for prospective clients:
Collaborate with Sales in successfully executing product evaluations. The scope of products included in these evaluations generally includes a combination of risk models, Risk Model Machine, risk analytics, single point-in-time optimizer, and time series backtester
Communicate to prospective clients Axioma's risk model methodology and its advantages and benefits
Understand the prospective clients? needs and current workflows and train them on the effective use of software and risk models
Guide prospective clients on implementing Axioma's advanced tools (Alpha Factor, multiple risk models in single optimizations, etc.) to achieve superior results
Identify roadblocks preventing Axioma and prospective client from achieving the trial goals and escalate to proper internal group and individuals, including Research, Client Services, Product Management, Sales and company executives
Coordinate efforts with other members of the trial team
Set up, execute and analyze backtests to recommend improvements for prospects
Cooperate with implementation experts on product installation and integration in client environments
Educate clients on advanced product features:
Provide subject-matter expertise on risk models and/or optimization
Rapidly obtain expertise in Axioma software and risk model products and translate this expertise into helpful guidance for clients and prospective clients
Take initiative in identifying new opportunities for Axioma to bring value to existing clients
Conduct proofs of concept to demonstrate Axioma product capabilities to in addressing client requirements
Provide feedback on personal and client experiences with Axioma products to Product Management and engage in product improvement efforts
Cooperate with Research on development and testing of new ideas, publications, etc.
Support marketing activities
Advanced degree in statistics, finance, econometrics, engineering, or operations research
3-7 years of relevant experience
Strong educational foundation of equity market theory and quantitative disciplines of portfolio construction/research
Strong knowledge in the use of risk models for equity portfolio management preferred
Expert understanding of both statistical and fundamental risk models preferred
Strong ability to problem-solve and quickly identify problem resolution for clients
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills (programming experience is a plus, especially in Java, C++, Matlab, R)
Passion for assisting and teaching clients how to maximize the benefit of Axioma products
