Description
The Manager, Compensation will serve as a consultant and partner to Department Executives, Sales Leaders, Sales Operations, Finance and HR Business Partners in the design, development and administration of incentive plans for all E2open business units. Additionally, the incumbent will help lead the organization through program development for all other compensation, equity, retention and recognition programs. The primary goal for this position it to help realize E2open's pay-for-performance philosophy by ensuring that all E2open compensation programs drive desired business results and reward exceptional performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead the incentive plan design initiatives to create plans that are aligned to E2open's plan design principles and support our pay-for-performance philosophy.
Design and implement tools for evaluating incentive plans and lead or coordinate periodic incentive plan effectiveness evaluations.
Lead the implementation of our compensation software management system and serve as the administrator for the system once in place.
Serve as the primary owner for the administration of all incentive plans for the Company.
Update annually all E2open salary and equity ranges to ensure they remain market competitive.
Design and implement strategic retention and employee reward programs to proactively ensure the retention of E2open?s key assets, our employees.
Experience:
7 plus years' experience designing and maintaining incentive compensation programs in complex, multi-national organizations.
Experience designing and maintaining both sales and non-sales compensation plans
Experience designing and implementing employee reward and retention programs
Deep knowledge of incentive plan design theories and methodologies; knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations
Experience serving as the primary administrator for an incentive compensation software program
Ability to work at all levels of the organization and build good working relationships with and influence partners in sales, professional services, finance and human resources
Sound verbal, written and presentation skills and strong customer service, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong team orientation
Advanced computer skills (particularly in Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Adaptable and comfortable shifting between high-level design work and hands-on analytical or plan administration work
BA in Business, Human Resources, Finance or equivalent required; MBA preferred
CCP or SPHR preferred
