Eloqua has a once in a lifetime opportunity for a Manager, Content Marketing. We are open to candidates based in San Francisco CA, Boston MA, or Toronto, Canada.
THE ROLE
Our Manager, Content Marketing (MCM) is responsible for building and driving Eloqua's content machine and all its initiatives which include: developing content that advances Eloqua?s thought leadership status, generating a high-level awareness among key target audiences (prospects, customers, analysts) and generating quality leads for our savvy field sales teams.
The MCM oversees a content team of freelance writers, creative agencies and internal authors with associated budget oversight. He or she will create integrated modern marketing programs that utilize the content across the various Eloqua marketing departments, creating a content program framework that aligns to our marketing team's overall mission. What kind of content, you ask? The types of content to be produced include: Eloqua eBooks, guides, videos, infographics, executive communications and co-branded partner materials. He or she will oversee Eloqua?s award-winning All About Revenue blog, ensuring 4-6 articles are published per week.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates for this position should be seasoned writers who can take complex data driven information and compose beautifully crafted clear, concise, engaging articles and copy. They should have experience working with creative agencies and managing freelance writers. Marketing automation industry (or related field) experience and/or knowledge are a definite plus. Candidates must be self-starters with real world Project Management experience, capable of relating with the various functional marketing leads and their teams, as well as company executives.
Additionally:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in content creation and program development
- Background in publishing or journalism a plus
- Bachelor?s degree required
