Job Description
As Manager, CRM, you will be responsible for customer relationship management at Datalogix as well as managing a small but crucial team to support our business' growing CRM needs. This includes implementing, maintaining, and evolving Datalogix's CRM system. Moreover, you will identify and implement design and usage updates, train users, incorporate user feedback, analyze sales efficiency and CRM effectiveness, drive IT development projects, and be the primary interface with our SugarCRM customer support team. As a key member of the Business Operations team, you will work with all Sales teams, Operations teams, IT and Finance to lead the evolution of our CRM with primary objectives of accelerating sales, optimizing cross-departmental communication, and minimizing system overhead.
Day-to-day you will:
Become the Datalogix expert on SugarCRM
Ensure all users are well-trained for efficient and effective customer relationship management, which may include group, team and one-on-one training sessions and roundtable feedback sessions
Create reports and dashboards for users and executives to understand and drive business
Configure modules, fields, page layouts, permissions & security and users to fit organizational needs
Maintain and create workflow rules, templates and field formulas and system documentation
Oversee approval processes, ensure timely approvals and assist with creation of Insertion Orders/Contracts
Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day user inquiries and troubleshoot issues for all users; this will involve dealing directly with the CRM vendor
Provide business-side input to IT development projects associated with the CRM and assist with testing, development and communicating changes
Make and implement recommendations for streamlining selling and cross-departmental communications
Proactively identify, develop, and implement new solutions and enhancements to meet the changing needs of the business
Perform other sales operations functions as appropriate
Skills and Qualification:
Here?s a summary of the skills you?ll need for this position:
Bachelor's degree required
Demonstrated hands-on experience managing and implementing CRM systems
3-5 years? experience in sales operations or related environment (Reporting, Analysis, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and expertise in Excel required
Experience as a CRM user is a plus
Must be extremely detail-oriented, diligent, and have the ability to multi-task
Must be energetic, self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions, including both short-term workarounds to meet business needs and long-term solutions for scale and efficiency
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to train and work with sales teams and to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff
Strong project management skills and an ability to work well with all levels of an organization
Comfort with initiating and responding to change, including demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement improvements to established processes
