JOB SUMMARY
Recyclebank is looking for a Philadelphia-based Manager to lead a group of data specialists and ensure that high quality data is delivered to internal and external stakeholders, while keeping inbound and outbound data streams aligned with the company's strategic business goals and tactical operations objectives. This role requires formal interaction with clients and ownership of certain projects with other management and departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day management of Data Management Team, including Client Data Streams, Client Relationships, Data Integrity, and Internal Reporting
Leads, manages, and trains team of Data Specialists overseeing a group of clients.
Present weekly updates for your team on best practices and operational changes.
Coordinate client launches for your team.
Identify and help to remove client based exceptions in data loading process.
Ensures the delivery of high quality data to both internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee quality assurance for data sent by clients and entered into the company?s database.
Review client reporting on a monthly basis in partnership with Analytics team to ensure consistency in end user reports.
Identify best practices for data communication and entry.
Work with Product and Analytics Teams to identify essential attributes needed for reporting.
Contribute to organization-wide Data Management Projects.
Identify and build use cases for improvements to the proprietary database used by the team.
Improvement of overall Data Management functionality by identifying methodologies for improving the overall data structure of the organization.
Identification and resolution of data inconsistencies (data scrubbing).
Work with Technology team to build additional operational reporting to support Data Management objectives.
Lead client facing meetings on a divisional level to resolve ad hoc issues as they arise.
Partner with other Data Managers to define department wide Standard Operating Procedures.

Demonstrated capability to large amounts of data, understand business dynamics and think globally and strategically.

Power user of Excel.
Proficient in all core MS Access functions / queries.
Able to rapidly learn various systems to mine, verify, and extrat data or when feasible build system-contained reports / analyses.
Able to maintain a consistently high level of objectivity.
Fast learner of business models, programs, product verticals, and architectures.
?Can-Do? attitude with willingness to develop foundational understandings and solutions.
EXPERIENCE
4+ years of experience in Database Administration or Analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Sciences, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field required.
Strong experience with building and maintaining databases, MySQL experience preferred.
Strong experience working with and leading teams, with demonstrated success indicated by group interaction generating positive results, and the career progression of team members / direct reports.
Experience as a stakeholder in a Project Management environment.
