We are currently looking for a high-energy, motivated Alliance Manager to work within a dynamic, fast-growing company. The Alliance Manager?s focus will be to develop and manage key relationships between Zyme and its market-facing partners, such as Salesforce.com, QlikView, and others. The role will be instrumental executing on Zyme?s ?Smarter Channel Management? vision, where channel visibility (powered by high-quality channel data) is a key enabler of various business sales cycles with Zyme customers and prospects, field engagement with partner organizations. The Alliance Manager will also play a key role in shaping joint solutions with Zyme?s partners. An important focus area for the role in the near term will be around building partnerships in the area of channel sales and incentives management, e.g. with CRM/ PRM and related solution providers.
Work closely with alliance partners to develop and execute a global go-to-market plan that drives all aspects of the partner relationship including: lead referrals and revenue opportunities, partner marketing opportunities, application integration, partner and Zyme field-team visibility, and joint solution opportunities
Execute on specific targets for number of partner-generated and partner-engaged sales revenue opportunities
Navigate the partner organization and facilitate meetings with account executives, senior management, marketing, and product development
Map the partner sales, SE and Field organizations, and ensure continued engagement with Zyme global field sales and account management personnel
Present and articulate the Zyme vision and value proposition, and demonstrate Zyme?s solutions at a high level
Create tools, documents and collateral (in coordination with Marketing team) for use by Zyme and partner organizations
Maintain and update Zyme?s and partner?s presence on partner website, Zyme website, internal CRM database
Market and update partner teams on Zyme progress, customer wins and new features, on a quarterly basis or as required
Constantly drive to improve Zyme positioning and visibility within partner organization as a visionary and innovator, and a successful partner to do business with
Create opportunities to showcase joint successes to the marketplace as well as Zyme and partner organizations, including at partner or industry conferences
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Results driven and able to achieve/exceed quarterly objectives
Ability to develop creative partner marketing and lead generation programs
Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal with internal/external teams
Creativity, can-do attitude and good work ethic, team player
Candidate must be a self-motivated, self-starter with decision-making capability
Able to work effectively and independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced and exciting environment
Detail oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, organized, self-sufficient, proactive, and willing/able to take ownership of work assigned
Ability to work in a global team environment, requiring participating in meetings outside normal business hours and occasional travel
3-5 years Business Development, Alliances experience, Managing partners/ partner ecosystem
Previous experience in enterprise software ecosystem e.g. Salesforce.com, SAP, Oracle, Business Intelligence solutions
Familiarity with core enterprise business processes, e.g. sales operations, channel management, supply chain management
BS/BA and a minimum of 5+ years of business experience; MBA a plus
