Manager/Director - Channel Sales RiseSmart, Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The key focus of the Manager/Director of Channel Sales is to win, maintain, and expand relationships with channel partners. She/he must have a solid understanding of channel partners in the HR technology space, have built deep relationships and have the business savvy to drive key relationships with partner sales leaders and executives.
The ultimate measure of success is Channel driven bookings and revenue. This will be accomplished by building, developing, maintaining and cultivating existing and new business relationships through channel partners. Some key responsibilities:
Developing a clear, concise and actionable Channel Partner strategy.
Developing a sales strategy to deliver quarterly and annual sales targets.
Formulating and executing strategic and tactical plans.
Lead pipeline and opportunity management.
Managing channel conflict and formulation of strategic options.
Measure partner performance through detailed business planning in support of the overall channel strategy.
Develop and launch Channel Partner Management processes including on-boarding, business planning, business review schedules, performance measurement process, incentive structures, and related.
Analyze channel penetration levels, identify and pursue opportunities for growth though active communication, negotiation and in collaboration with the Sales team.
Work with Sales team to help on-board new assigned channel partners that can drive growth with minimal conflict.
Lead development of co-op marketing programs with on-line channel partners, including program definition, metrics, negotiation with channel partners, and collaboration with Marketing Communications team in design and implementation.
Develop pursuit strategies for each target.
Jointly define and communicate the messaging framework for the channel.
7+ years enterprise sales experience preferably in the HR technology space.
Demonstrated success winning, maintaining and expanding relationships with channel partners.
Excellent industry knowledge, background and deep connections.
Goal oriented with a track record of having continually exceeded sales targets.
Ability to simultaneously work with multiple customers and prospects.
High energy, creative problem solver.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
BS degree, MBA preferred
