Manager/Director, Circulation & Analysis Serena & Lily
A deeply analytic role focused on the successful achievement of revenue goals and providing insight to the performance and effectiveness of catalog circulation and direct marketing. This hands on Manager/Director is responsible for all planning, execution and analysis of the annual and seasonal catalog marketing strategy, as well as comprehensive consumer analytics. The Manager/Director will work closely with cross-functional teams in Merchandising, Planning, Creative and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and timely execution of seasonal plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maximize the customer contact strategy to drive deeper engagement with current customers.
Identify best sources to drive new customer acquisition at or above immediate breakeven.
Manage relationships with all external catalog vendors; cooperative databases, printers, service bureau, list broker and catalog request fulfillment.
Budget and track catalog and creative expenses with a main focus on variable catalog costs and provide forecast guidance to the finance team for cost amortization relative to the budget.
Utilize quantitative approach to challenge or support qualitative strategies.
Ability to work through multiple systems to provide comprehensive metrics and insights regarding the development and dynamics of the buyer file, efficacy of marketing expense and overall health of the business.
Maintain consumer and marketing dashboard to provide a common platform from which cross-functional teams can discuss KPIs and make informed and unified decisions.
Bachelor's Degree - (preferred emphasis: Business/Marketing /Economics)
Minimum of 5 years catalog/direct marketing, multi-channel retail, or related experience required
Minimum of 5 years customer analytics experience required
Home d-cor and/or lifestyle brand experience preferred
Strong knowledge of direct marketing concepts, including customer segmentation, modeling and acquisition targeting
Strong analytic skills and ability to turn data into actionable information
Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
Proficient in use of Excel, databases and Power Point
Track record of success in driving initiatives to completion in high-change, high-volume environments.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
