Manager/Director, Content Marketing Five9
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Five 9 is looking for a Manager/Director of Content Marketing. The content marketing team is leads all content creation initiatives on behalf of Five9. The job of this team is to think like a publisher/journalist ? leading the development of compelling, relevant content intended to drive new business opportunities as well as expand the reach of Five9 marketing. Content Marketing will be used ?beyond the funnel? to drive eyeballs to Five9.com and also for WOM and viral tactics. Content Marketing will be an integral part of defining our buyer?s journey, aligning the right content to the right persona based on where they are in our buying cycle, and driving that channel through all marketing channels. This is a highly visible role that will interact (interview, ghost write, etc) at all levels of the organization.
Mapping out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for the brand and for creating/converting demand
Understand the Five9 Buyer?s journey and create relevant content intended to lead a suspect through the journey to closed business. The content marketer will understand the Five9 ICP and associated personas and create the appropriate content leveraging the right content type, tone and delivery mechanism to accelerate the buyer through the cycle. Inclusive of early, middle and late stage content
Types of content will include info graphics and other ?fun? thought-leadership oriented content, Curated Lists/articles for thought leaders, industry luminaries, animated videos, research/buying guides, interactive tools (ROI calc, RFP builder, etc), and customer stories (written, video documentaries, talking head interviews, etc.)
The Content Marketer will be the primary contributor to the Five9 Blog and will use the blog as the hub of all content initiatives (content will drive to the blog for conversion/SEO)
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person. This is to be done for each buyer persona within the enterprise
The development of a functional content calendar throughout the enterprise, and defining the owners in each stage to particular persona groups.
Responsible for building a content library to track all content, score it based on stage and relevancy, and track its success across all channels it is used
Supervising writers, editors, content strategists; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style
Integration of content activities within demand marketing campaigns.
Conducting ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness. Gathering data and handle analytics (or supervise those who do) and make recommendations based on those results.
Working with owners of particular content to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals
7-10 years of editorial experience, at least 3 of which have been spent working as a managing editor for a media company (magazine, newspaper), a professional services company, or a corporate brand, including working as an editor or journalist
Proven experience managing content creation processes
Experience in Digital Marketing in coordinating blog, SEO/SEM and offers/CTAs (copywriting for adds/LPs)
Familiarity content management systems
Fluency in all major business software applications
Experience with Analytics systems
Experience in Developing standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies.
