Position Summary
KXEN has transformed the world of predictive analytics, particularly in managing the customer lifecycle, from acquisition through cross-sell, up-sell, retention and next best activity. KXEN is the market leader, with double-digit revenue growth, over 400 of the largest brands worldwide as customers and established leadership with industry analysts.
Based in San Francisco and reporting to the VP, Worldwide Marketing, KXEN is looking to appoint a high-caliber Manager or Director of Product Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of outbound marketing content needed to support marketing efforts and sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the creation of innovative marketing materials that demonstrate leadership in the predictive analytics and social network analysis markets.
Ensure all aspects of positioning are incorporated in our outbound communication.
Work with our product management to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages.
Work with product management to shape the features and functionality of future products pricing and packaging.
Create sales tools that will assist the sales teams in all phases of the sales cycle.
Lead design and development of product demonstrations with product team and sales engineering.
Work with field marketing to deliver positioning and content for marketing programs, including coordinating keynotes and tracks at annual user conferences.
Create and maintain all product content for company website.
Work closely with corporate marketing to execute innovative online marketing campaigns, SEO, and web design.
Track and monitor the competitive landscape.
Work closely with customer success program initiatives.
Create & deliver our message to press and analysts.
Experience/Skills Required
5+ years experience in product marketing in a high tech company.
Bachelor or Masters level degree.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with sales teams to help position products and build sales tools.
Proven track record in performing well in a fast pace environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Experience/Skills Desired
Strong public speaking skills and experience presenting to audiences.
Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative products.
Outstanding written communication skills to write various types of collateral; demonstrated ability to write product literature, customer interviews, case studies and white papers.
Strong skills in building slide presentations.
Experience marketing through social media channels and building viral content
Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content .
MBA a plus (but we also like brilliant people who didn't go to business school...)
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel when required.
Strong communications skills and ability to work well cross functionally
