Manager, Finance Operations Acurian

Responsibilities:

Revenue forecasting, recognition and reporting function
Monitor and update revenue forecasting schedule and assist in forecasting related project expenses.
Collect revenue and general project data from Project Management and analyze for reasonableness and potential areas of risk.
Point of contact for customer invoicing and customer inquiries related to invoices
Perform direct and indirect project costing and the forecasting, maintenance and analysis of project margins
Oversee work and provide input regarding cost and margin calculations for proposals
Maintain deferred and accrued project costs/accounts
Administer commission plan for Account Directors and Project Managers
Manage audits related to operations
Supervise, train and conduct annual performance evaluation of staff accountant
Other special projects including analytical reporting of Operations as required
Cross train with Financial Reporting and Administration group

Requirements:

4 year Bachelors degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
5+ years experience in an accounting/financial role
Project accounting experience required and Public accounting experience a plus
Proven ability and prior experience effectively managing multiple projects concurrently
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficiency in the use of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Microsoft Dynamics S; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, ADP payroll software, Salesforce.com a plus
Excellent analytical and communication skills
