RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for overall functional and technical ownership of corporate and transactional financial applications, including Oracle E-business Suite R12 Financials. Manage the functional and development staff working in the financial applications space. Define, secure sponsorship, and implement the financial applications roadmap in support of corporate finance objectives. Stay abreast with financial applications developments and ensure functional and technical stack alignment with Oracle's product direction. Ensure day-to-day support at very high service levels for financial transaction applications; scalable, configurable, and flexible design for transactional solutions; and adherence to overall development standards in the financial applications space. Ensure and improve timely financial period end processing to optimize on the period close time. Plan, scope, estimate, and deliver projects requiring changes to financial applications. Deploy appropriate quality controls and checks to ensure normal operation. Enforce compliance and adherence to SOX controls within the financial applications team. Deliver user training as needed in adoption of new processes and systems. Identify and act on daily and long-term challenges in the financial applications space. Implement a repeatable process to manage small scale improvements to financial solutions as well as a process to report progress being made in the financial applications space to the CFO and the financial organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field. Employer will accept credential evaluation prepared by a qualified evaluation service.
10 years of experience as an Oracle Business Analyst, in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience must include Oracle E-Business Suite Applications with an emphasis on core Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA, Tax, SLA); Oracle financial applications; Vertex Tax Engine (implementation and maintenance knowledge); managing financial application portfolio; Oracle EBS 11i or R12; R12 implementation; PL/SQL; and reporting tools (Discoverer, FSG). Must be Oracle Certified for Financial Modules (11i Asset Management Fundamentals Ed 2, 11i Implement and Use Cash Management Ed 1, 11i Oracle Receivables Fundamentals Ed 3, 11i Oracle Payables Fundamentals Ed 3.2, 11i General Ledger Management Fundamentals Ed 3.1, 11i eBusiness Suite Essentials for Implementers Ed 4, 11i Navigate Oracle Applications Ed 2).
