Undertone is a rapidly growing, leading creator of innovative digital media solutions for brands. We are seeking an accomplished business leader to join our team as the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, the Manager of FP&A will play a leading role in the Company?s financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. The Manager will collaborate with Undertone?s corporate strategy and finance teams to develop and monitor key metrics for measuring business performance. He/she will be responsible for managing efficient and accurate financial forecasting, planning, and budgeting systems and processes. In addition, the Manager will lead or contribute to special projects, including financial analyses related to business development, investments, and acquisitions. Other duties include assisting the CFO and SVP of Corporate Strategy & Business Development with Board updates and external communications as necessary.
Contributing to the development of Undertone?s annual budget and three year strategic plan. This process spans an approximate six month period annually and includes the development of overall strategic goals and objectives, target setting, iterative budgeting and forecasting. The strategic planning process culminates in the presentation of the annual budget and three year strategic plan to Undertone?s Board of Directors.
Coordinating with management and departments on a monthly reforecast of quarterly and annual results.
Presenting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant financial data to the CFO and SVP of Corporate Strategy & Business Development, along with other members of the management team.
Working with the management team in developing key metrics to track business performance.
Supporting the CFO and SVP of Corporate Strategy & Business Development with preparation of materials for Board of Director meetings.
Working on a variety of special projects including M&A and business development initiatives.
Analyzing competitor performance and market trends.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of progressive investment banking, finance, or accounting experience and must have strong analytical and financial skills.
Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic environment.
Outstanding modeling skills, project management abilities, and cost management experience.
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with the most senior levels of the organization.
Proven leader with a strong work ethic.
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or similar areas of study preferred, but not required (depending on other relevant experience).
