Zipcar is looking to add a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to the FP&A team. The successful candidate will drive Zipcar?s annual and monthly planning processes, compile and analyze actual performance variances in total and by department and region and support financial analysis of new initiatives. Reports to the Director of FP&A.
Day-to-day responsibilities will vary, and are not represented in their entirety:
Provide thought leadership on financial systems, planning, and reporting
Partner with Zipcar leadership to develop Zipcar?s annual plan and monthly reforecasts
Produce and review monthly reports of actual performance variance to plan
Develop financial analysis of special projects and initiatives
Leverage internal and external data to enable improved forecasting, planning and business insight
Oversee and develop direct reports
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (including executive team) and articulate ideas, analysis results, and actionable recommendations
Must be able to work well with others in a dynamic team environment
Ability to deliver high quality work product under deadlines
Bachelor?s degree, preferably in a quantitative major, Master?s degree a plus
Previous experience with financial planning software (Hyperion, Adaptive Planning or other) a plus
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Minimum five years of finance experience with increasing responsibility
