As a strategic partner, the Manager HR Business Partner (HRBP) and Compensation Management Programs aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and functions. The Manager, HRBP and Compensation Management Programs serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. Successful HRBP will act as business and employee champion and change agent. HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions.
This role will work with the HR team and selected vendors to deliver competitive compensation management and related activities to strengthen the organization. This will require vendor management and strategic consideration for business economics and Peregrine?s culture, values and economics of the organization.
This role may have direct reports.
Conduct bi-weekly meetings with respective business units.
Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
May assist int'l employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
Work with business units to identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Work with HR VP to deliver to Benefits and Engagement Strategy.
Manage vendor relationships in building successful solutions and easy to use programs
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 8 - 10 years progress experience in resolution of complex employee relation issues. Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
In depth knowledge of vendor relations including compensation management and employment engagement practices.
Relevant industry experience in semiconductor or technology a plus.
