Summary:
Primary responsibilities were management of the Test, Assembly, and Production Control areas of Operations department. This includes management, supervision, hiring, training, assignments, scheduling, reporting, timecard preparation, performance assessments, disciplining, coaching and mentoring for direct reports and supervisors. This position provides the lead role in assuring that proper documentation is adhered to and initiates change orders when they are required. Also supports other departments (Engineering, Purchasing, AQ and Mfg Prog Mngt) in resolving issues and proofing out production processes. This position is in charge of all depot activities which includes the analysis and repair out-of-warranty equipment. Also maintains a production build plan and reconciles it to the Revenue schedule to assure on-time deliveries. This position is also the focal point for all work orders. Responsible for monthly review process and participates in all transitions-to-production activities for our space and ground equipment and is responsible for Company?s ESD controls.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum 6 years work related experience
Security Clearance Required
Skills:
Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing activities including purchasing, materials, engineering and production processes. Knowledge of using small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches etc.
Ability to read and understand simplified assembly drawings, applications and sequences.
Attention to detail. M.R.P. and Materials systems trained ; able to work with others and be fluent in excel and query writing systems to generate reports for staff; able to analyze problems with transactions and repair appropriately.
