We are currently seeking a Manager, Invoice Reconciliation for our Houston, TX office.
Manage, motivate, and develop team members.
Ensure the satisfaction of supplier and carrier partners through prompt problem resolution.
Achieve internal and external operational service-level agreements for delivery and invoice reconciliation.
Role and Responsibilities:
Report to senior management on a series of metrics.
Ensure all incidents have detailed issue ticket filled out.
Act as an escalation point for invoice reconciliation issues.
Oversee daily invoice process and procedures per customer.
Assist in managing the testing of future FMS application releases.
Lead and facilitate periodic (e.g. monthly) meetings with customers.
Oversee a team of invoice reconciliation specialists (about 10 people)
Be able to reconcile invoices and deliveries in FMS on a periodic basis.
Provide support for customer FMS application administrative changes requested.
Knowledge of and ability to manage/oversee fiscal month end close outs for key clients.
Proactively improve reconciliation process to ensure fastest and most accurate reconciliation.
Follow all invoice and delivery reconciliation procedures and policies and work to reengineer processes that are sub optimal.
Identify FMS application errors, as well as enhancements for application which allow for greater scalability and daily work flow efficiencies.
MS Office proficiency.
Bachelor?s degree, preferred.
Ability to supervise shift work.
Previous experience managing a team.
Past AP or invoice reconciliation experience.
Process improvement and redesign experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong process orientation.
Fuel dispatch experience will be considered a plus.
Knowledge of downstream fuel supply-chain a plus.
Proficient customer service background experience.
Basic knowledge of motor fuel tax laws and regulations.
Must be able to understand issues and resolve independently within guidelines provided.
Strong understanding of complex processes and the ability and willingness to enforcement processes.
Fuel Transportation billing knowledge or experience with fuel supplier contract mechanisms such as Platts, OPIS and DTN based pricing.
Past use of sophisticated (ERP) software that requires critical decision making (i.e. not merely entering data into a screen, but interacting with an enterprise level software in a way where the user is required to make decisions outside of the application that impact how effective the application will be).
