THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than three decades, partnered with Insight Imaging in 2012 to create one of the nation?s largest radiology providers for fixed site and mobile diagnostic imaging and interventional services. Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization served nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community?s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems.
We are currently seeking a full-time, Manager-IT Applications and Development to join our Corporate Office in St. Louis Park.
JOB SUMMARY: Plans and directs the development, installation, and maintenance of business computer applications systems. Assigns, directs, and coordinates the work of systems analysis and programming staff. Provides technical direction and assistance as required. Managing resources to produce high quality and effective technology solutions for CDI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Champions the values and builds the culture to support the goals of CDI while fostering an environment where customer service is a priority
? Develops and implement strategies and solutions to business problems by partnering with business users and customers to assess needs and identify projects which will improve efficiencies, productivity, quality and profitability as well as improving the patient experience
? Prepares feasibility studies and time and cost estimates for new or revised application systems programs and systems for project from the very large, enterprise-level projects, involving multiple departments/locations to single departmental solutions presents these solutions to the IT Steering Committee for approval and prioritization
? Works with business partners to establish detailed plans and project completion targets
? Responsible for monitoring project timelines on internal development with CDI staff or consulting firms.
? Interfaces with other IT partners in co-development projects the organization may be involved with.
? Assesses and recommends the best technical approach (language and software tools) to be used for projects
? Interfaces with other IT and business functions in the organization to coordinate activities and report progress towards goals and objectives
? Obtains appropriate approvals to move projects forward within specified time frames
? Ensures staff is regularly and accurately reporting project progress and time expended.
? Monitors project cost and effort against plan and takes corrective action as may be necessary.
? Management of TFS 2012
Application System Maintenance
? Troubleshoots or delegates troubleshooting duties to appropriate staff
? Manages the implementation of remedial repairs, corrections and extensions to systems developed internally
Financial and Administrative
? With Director, IT Applications and Development, develops annual department operating plan and budget.
? Monitors performance against budget proactively communicating variances to plan and forecasting anticipated adjustments.
? Performs quarterly performance reviews with an annual summary.

? BS degree in IT or related field with a minimum of ten years of experience in development environments
? 3-5 years previous management experience of developers
? Web development in the Microsoft stack a plus
? MVC/WCF experience a plus
? Windows Forms development in C# a plus
? Strong Visual Studio skills a plus
? Broad knowledge and experience with a variety of database and development applications
? Skilled in all phases of the system development life cycle and multiple development methodologies.
? Requires mathematic and logical skill sets consistent with advanced programming and modeling techniques, as well as basic knowledge of descriptive statistics and data presentation
? Prior experience with healthcare systems, specifically registration, imaging and billing systems is preferred.
