JOB POSITION: Manager, Lawson ERP Solution Consulting
JOB LOCATION: Remote
JOB SUMMARY: Direct and manage the pre-sales activity of a team of Lawson ERP Solution Consultants within the Public Sector. Works closely with the sales organization to provide strategic direction and ensures optimal resource utilization. Also works closely with Product Development, Professional Services, and Marketing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and Manage Sales Support Team â€" 35%
· Lead the pre-sales team with responsibility for understanding customer/prospective strategic direction. Present and demonstrate to prospects and client applications highlighting the business benefits and technical advantages of the Lawson solution.
· Build and utilize knowledge and expertise of the company's product and service portfolio to ensure that the customer's needs are addressed.
· Provide direction to ensure effective utilization of appropriate company resources to progress all issues impacting revenue, new business and customer satisfaction.
· Maintain a high and accurate knowledge level of business concepts, business processes and efficiency factors in order to determine ways to increase performance and business excellence for prospects. This will include a strong knowledge of the competitive landscape.
Manage and Coordinate Sales Deliverables â€" 35%
· Develop an in-depth understanding of the Public Sector ERP industry segment(s) and/or customer(s) business situation, structure, practices and challenges in order to manage precise pre-sale activities
· Build strong rapport with prospects to act as a trusted advisor.
· Present a comprehensive picture Lawson's product offerings targeted to the needs and development potential of customers and prospects.
· Provide best practice sales support so prospects are closed in an efficient and timely manner.
Recruit, Train, and retain Sales Support Resources- 30%
· Responsible for recruiting (subject to the correct approval process), training and development of all direct reports.
· Ensure the Solutions team develops and maintains the necessary industry, product and customer knowledge to operate effectively.
· Set performance targets and incentive plans for team members as per corporate guidelines.
· Support all direct reports in their customer/prospect presentations and demos.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· College/University Degree or equivalent experience
· Minimum of 5 years enterprise software development and/or application Consulting in the enterprise software business
· Minimum 5 years' experience with enterprise software sales and/or client services (application implementation), preferably as a lead Solutions Consultant.

Required Skills:
· Superior public speaking, presentation, and written communication directed at a technical and business audience at all levels of an organization
· Ability to establish strong relationships with customers'/prospects' top management
preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE:
· 3+ years of managing a public sector Solutions Consulting team in the enterprise software business
· Proven ability to present solution and influence to “C†level executives
· Proven ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrated initiative in taking ownership for all assigned responsibilities, deliverables and results
· Demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts of, and proven experience in solution selling
