This position will support the Sales and Product Management teams for the life science industry. The goal of the position will be to create and execute innovative and integrated marketing programs and campaigns that will fill the pipeline and develop existing opportunities. This includes strategy, creative direction, campaign objectives, messaging and validation.
This position will report into Director of Marketing Programs and work with the Product Management team, Sales Management, and Regional Marketing partners to develop and deploy marketing programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Create promotional marketing collateral as well as educational collateral (videos, tutorials and webinars) to drive awareness, generate demand and build customer loyalty. This includes coordination with the Product Management group, external vendors and other domestic and international business units to ensure consistency and effectiveness
Create demand in the marketplace via print and on-line advertising placements as well as via paid search and display vehicles e.g. banner advertisements, GenomeWeb daily news headers, and print advertisements
Partner with product marketing and regional marketing partners to develop programs for existing products and to launch new technologies at key tradeshows and conferences
Maintain overall project timelines for programs and campaigns.
Capture, measure and analyze relevant data across lead generation activities and programs to evaluate effectiveness and ROI
Assess, augment, and cleanse lead/customer database and lists for effective contact management and to improve program results
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Science or Business and 7 years of experience, or any combination of education and experience
A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications or Product Management in the life science industry is required for this position
Knowledge of genomics applications is preferred
Proficiency working with Marketo a plus
