Who We Want:
We are looking for energetic and entrepreneurial candidate to develop a top-notch pre and post sales analytics capability for Bazaarvoice Media. This person will play a strategic role with the national sales teams to provide data expertise and pre-post campaign insights, both internally and in-field. This role will also require some client facing responsibilities, including accompanying sales teams on pitches and meetings.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
Prove advertising effectiveness by applying cutting-edge, advanced analytics to determine relationship between marketing spend and business outcomes
Work with Sellers, Marketing, Product, BI, Finance, Studio teams to proactively identify insights that can create new opportunities, solve client problems, and inform decisions
Build strong relationships with leading campaign effectiveness and syndicated data vendors (Comscore, Nielsen etc). to build out a portfolio of research solutions.
Provide sophisticated analyses of comScore and other third party data sources to develop consumer insights for brands and media agencies.
Integrate disparate internal and external data sources to create performance reports for customers
Analyze and benchmark performance across channels, media properties and creative executions
Skills & Experience:
BS/BA in related field. Strong analytical abilities, experience with analytic methodologies
4-7 years of relevant work experience with at least 4 yrs in a data-driven analysis role in a media/tech company, publisher, agency, management consulting or other digital environment. Agency or digital publisher experience highly preferred
Ability to understand what the data reveals and turn it into a compelling, simple and elegant story is a must
Big picture thinker who can identify key questions, connect the dots, perform analyses, and recommend high-impact actions to drive growth opportunities
Strong business writing, storytelling and presentation skills. Experience in developing and delivering effective presentations to various internal stakeholders and clients
Entrepreneurial passion and deep curiosity for emerging online media and social models
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must. Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Microstrategy a plus.
Strong project management, interpersonal and organizational skill
