This person will provide project leadership for Argus Data Operations & IT efforts supporting the development of a portfolio of projects designed to
improve the operating performance of the Data Operations & IT organizations. As an initial project, this person will work with the leadership team to create a Data Operations & IT vision, mission, and roadmap. They will then manage related projects and activities aimed at delivering the roadmap in a predictable and effective way. This person will also coordinate all aspects of work for the successful completion of the project by working with the
various functional/technical groups within Argus to deliver on clearly articulated shared goals. In addition, this leader will prepare and utilize project plans for significant performance, process, and procedural improvements across all functional segments of the organization. They will also lead the team through the project management phases and maintain overall responsibility for the successful completion of projects on an ongoing basis. As a critical success factor, this person will establish measurable goals and provide regular feedback to team members. This person will communicate regularly with internal and external customers.
In addition, this role is responsible establishing and leading the functional and operational responsibilities associated with Vendor and Facilities management. The role will likely have intra-departmental impact important to the success of company. This person will be responsible for ensuring
the overall operational effectiveness of both vendor and facilities management. A successful candidate will also help the organization find ways to attack new or difficult problems. Proposes project direction through strategic partnership for major projects and initiatives and ensures that all work related to these initiatives is performed with approved vendors.
The candidate will have the ability to provide strategic thought leadership at the company-wide level as well as being a structured, well organized project manager. This person must be able to work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals. Assignments are often self-initiated and a successful candidate will determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Responsibilities include:
Runs complex projects/programs.
Defines requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.
Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
Plans and schedules project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
Directs and oversees project team and manages conflicts within group.
Performs team assessments and evaluations as required.
Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk.
Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services as needed.
Designs and maintains technical and project documentation.
Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
Qualifications include:
Proven leadership skills and experience

Excellent technical writing skills
Able to establish new operational
Ability to manage multiple high profile initiatives concurrently
3 ? 5 years of project management / leadership experience - required
ITIL experience preferred
Self-motivation - does not need constant direction and oversight
Can make recommendations and good decisions
Highly organized
Stellar writing skills - very clear, direct, and timely progress reports
