At LivingSocial, mobile is a critical piece of the business. Approximately half of all our traffic is on mobile devices, and the ratio continues to grow. We're looking for someone to take the mobile experience to the next level. You'll help lead development on our 4+ star-rated iOS and Android applications and our mobile web app.
As the mobile engineering manager you will:
Lead a talented and dedicated engineering team that creates outstanding mobile web, iOS, and Android applications
Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team members achieve their potential and continue to advance in their careers
Help attract top-level engineers and grow a distributed team
Drive regular releases of new features
Work with product managers and UX team to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences
Well-qualified candidate will have:
5 plus years of experience as an established technical leader of mobile software engineering teams that have successfully delivered consumer software products
Comfort level working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment
Experience building native mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms
Great design and problem solving skills, passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale
