Seeking assertive, energetic, and goal-oriented individuals with previous experience in sales. Position is responsible for calling on and developing relationships with local and multi-regional restaurants, service, and amusement/entertainment companies.
Solicit marquee regional businesses to partner with premium warehouse club merchants in offering targeted, discounted gift card programs to their club members.
Will manage all phases of the sales process including cold calling, lead generation, and contract negotiation.
Creates, fosters and builds account relationships
Creates custom sales presentations for local and multi-regional companies
Responsible for Internal and external follow up and reporting
Develops familiarity with merchants? business products and/or services
Experinced in merchant economic model, revenue and profit drivers
Understands and applies concepts of deal structure and strategy that are proven models for successful achievement
Reliable transportation with valid drivers license, clean motor vehicle report, current insurance coverage
Willingness to travel outside of assigned area when requested
Experience with selling over the phone and cold calling various types of local businesses
Ability to exercise own judgment and work independently
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and customer service orientation
Previous presentation or group training experience
Skilled with database, spreadsheet and word processing software. Preferred Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Minimum 3-5 years of proven success in a competitive sales environment
Savvy negotiation skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, compromise and close business deals
Retail, Consumer Products, and/or Gift Card experience a plus
Bachelor?s degree preferred
