Job Description:
The Manager of Analytics will be responsible for developing a new product for WideOrbit ? WO Analytics. We're looking for an analytics guru. If you're someone that can build massive scale distributed data processing systems, this might be the opportunity for you. As the Manager of Analytics, you'll be overseeing all of the strategy of this product. You will be responsible to work with our clients to understand their analytical needs, and in turn work with WideOrbit analysts and developers for development a revolutionary product. Specific responsibilities include:
? Provide strategic direction of analytics to the engineering team.
? Act as Product Manager for all analytics supporting internal and external clients related to all services.
? Manage data verification and predictive analysis products.
? Evaluate current performance data structure, and manage change to ensure analytical capabilities have necessary data available.
? Standardize complex product solutions based on business requirements
? Perform data modeling, application/product development, technical product planning and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements
? Articulate complex mathematical solutions at a high level to internal and external clients.
? Use statistical modeling and other quantitative and research analytics
? Reviews and approves the translation of business requirements into functional application specifications and logical data model requirements
? Thoroughly understand data, specifically those that support the spot TV market.
? Translate analytical insights into specific actionable business and marketing recommendationss
Skills/Qualifications:
? 5+ years of development/management experience in advertising exchange or ad center operations IS A MUST.
? Have deep technology experience in real-time ad delivery systems and ad optimization.
? Advanced understanding of advertising networks and systems.
? Experience building a network as opposed to managing one.
? Ability to analyze large amounts of information on trends so that WideOrbit can optimize the WO Analytics' effectiveness.
? Strong technical aptitude which should include some programming or engineering experience.
? Bachelors of Science in Math or Computer Science is strongly preferred.
? Experience using web based applications and comfortable with learning and using new technologies
