Manager of Business Analysis
Manage a group of 4 to 6 Senior/Junior Business Analysts in North America with some oversight of a global team of Business Analysts.
Works with training manager in building boot camps and training program for effectively on-boarding new analysts
Evaluates performance of each team member, generates development plans and sets goals within the context of the corporate policy.
Must also motivate, coach, counsel and develop team members within the context of the corporate policies and manages the team's budget.
Ensures that staff has appropriate tools and training
Participates in strategic and portfolio planning with product management and Product Development teams in creating multi-year roadmaps for the evolution of products and services.
Accountable for maintaining a business definition of all applications which supports the strategic direction of the organization and near-term needs of our customers.
Accountable for setting process modeling and consistent methodologies, requirements management and process modeling tools, and ensuring all their associates are trained and consistently following the methodologies defined.
Drives continuous process improvement practices on all aspects throughout the systems analyst team globally.
Stays current on recent developments is business architecture, requirements methodologies and tools, business process modeling and tools and industry best practices to continue to evolve the organization's business expertise in order to better support our customers' current and future needs.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Ability to take high level requirements and break them down into well defined, concise use cases that can be implemented and/or integrated into existing software systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical team members across the organization
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communication style in a distributed environment with colleagues located in different geographical regions and across various levels of departments of the organization with skills in facilitating meetings with a business and a technical audience
Ability to understand software related concepts or prior experience with hands on software development.
MS Office and Visio skills, ability to create story boards and present solution concepts visually a plus.
Proven ability to be able to successfully multi-task and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Bachelor?s degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent degree with business system experience
3+ years experience with CRM, ERP or Supply Chain Management software or domain a plus
Experience with Agile software methodology a plus
5+ years of prior managerial experience
