Manager of Business Development Utopy

Summary:

UTOPY currently has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a demonstrated track record in Business Development. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of relationships with both national and international channels, key system integrators and VARs. The candidate for this position needs to have good sales skills, experience in administering partner marketing programs, outstanding interpersonal/collaboration skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with consultants, senior business executives, and IT executives. Frequent travel (including internationally) will be required for sales and partner meetings.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop key strategic partnerships with 3rd parties CRM, analytics and Business Intelligence software vendors, contact center platform providers, and consulting/SI companies
Present to executives, influence and advocate on value, business case, technology
Structure and negotiate commercial terms with 3rd parties
Fuel sales growth and managed relationship with strategic partners

Requirements:

At least 3-5 years of business development, marketing, or sales experience in enterprise software
At least one year of international channel development
Knowledge and personal connections in CRM, business intelligence, contact centers, or Sis
Should have relevant, established contacts in the enterprise software industry (major system integrators and leading enterprise software companies
Demonstrated ability to close deals and grow major account relationships
Superior communication skills, including presentation, phone and e-mail
Ability to interact with senior executives and influence decision making
Work ethic and ability to adapt to change
Undergraduate degree in from a top school, computer science/engineering/science or related a plus
MBA preferred
Willing to travel 50
