The Manager of Channel Sales owns our sales number for the eastern region and manages a team of account managers and a diverse network of channel partners. The position is full-time and can be based in Boston, NYC, NJ or Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
Set and exceed sales plan for our eastern region; drive significant growth in support of company?s overall sales plan
Regular and accurate forecasting
Drive market and partner strategy for eastern region
Maintain great executive relationships with top partners in region
Manage team of account managers covering channel partners in region; territory and quota management
Develop Sunrun product and company expertise and strong knowledge of the residential solar industry
Critical Experiences / Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of sales and sales leadership experience, preferably in an indirect/channel sales environment
Experience building and executing on a sales plan for a region or business line
Consistent track record of exceeding quota
Experience building and leading a high-performing team
Executive presence; ability to create and maintain C-level relationships
Leadership of cross-functional teams in launching or turning around critical business initiatives
High impact communication skills
Significant domestic travel
