The Manager of Deployment Services is responsible for leading and managing the deployment business functions in the following contexts: 1) business process definition and refinement; 2) growth strategy development and execution and 3) personnel management. This role will be both business owner and active participant focused on delivering successful solutions to Echo360 customers and establishing relationships for future business activity. You?ll report to the Vice President of Client Services and Operations, but will be required to work with executives, mid-management and staff across the entire Echo360 organization.
Act as the primary in-house expert on all topics related to deploying Echo360 solutions.
Contribute in both player and coach roles.
Own the Echo360 Deployment Services business, which includes:
Creating Deployment Services proposals in conjunction with the Echo360 Sales team.
Delivering Deployment Services to Echo360 customers.
Driving revenue growth by refining service offerings to meet the business needs of Echo360 customers.
Tracking and reporting on Deployment Services progress to support strategy modification.
Developing/modifying business processes to allow the Deployment Services business function to scale with the broader Echo360 business
Enhance the framework of the Deployment Services business including development of sales strategies, operational processes, forecasting models and management policies
Develop and execute Deployment Services programs focused on delivering a superior customer experience for Echo360 customers.
Shape strategy that will contribute to the overall growth of the Echo360 Client Services business, while preserving and retaining the existing customer base.
Translate strategy into clear objectives and initiatives that can be successfully implemented by members of the Deployment Services team.
Directly manage, mentor and coach personnel assigned to deliver Deployment Services.
Collaborate with internal Echo360 teams to drive change and improvement of Echo360 products/practices, ultimately setting customers up for success with our product suite.
You are a seasoned manager with at least 10 years of deployment services experience or related experience in the educational technology domain.
You are a proven manager of high-performance teams and have the uncanny ability to interact with individuals across the client spectrum ? from technicians to executives ? as well as with the internal team including managers and senior executives.
?Customer Service? is your middle name.
You have exemplary business acumen with analysis experience, including implementation, tracking, problem resolution and reporting.
You have a Bachelor?s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
You are a strong, high-energy leader with the ability to manage projects with multiple tracks.
You can develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies.
You have excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills on top of your demonstrated problem-solving experience, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills.
You?ve proven your expertise in leading clients and team members through large complex implementations.
You can?t wait to hop on the next fill in the blank so that you can spend 60-70% of your time traveling within the US and Canada.
You might also have systems integration experience, which we?d consider a plus.
You are tech-savvy and have experience with:
Windows 2008 Server.
IIS and Apache Web Servers.
Windows Vista and Windows 7 Operating Systems.
Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, etc., including experience troubleshooting network environments and enterprise applications.
Active Directory and LDAP.
Common audio/video devices found within higher education including cabling, cameras, audio inputs, podiums, room control systems, automation systems, projector technologies, and document cameras.
Clustering and load balancing technologies.
MS SQL Server and MySQL Database Administration.
Virtualization and VMware.
