Manager of Education Services Courion
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED To continue building our lead in the IAM market, we are seeking a Manager of Education Services. The Manager will report to the VP of Operations, and be responsible for Courion?s customer partner training strategy and execution. . The Manager of Education Services is responsible for the overall creation and delivery of all customer and partner training including, but not limited to, curriculum design, creation and management of training collateral, and delivery of all training content through webinars, on-demand and in-person training. The Manager of Education Services must also implement continuous improvement methodology into Courion?s training programs. This position will be responsible for defining and addressing gaps in our training offerings and our future education strategy; and grow a comprehensive and profitable Education department.
The successful candidate will develop and continuously improve Courion?s portfolio of training offerings; is customer-focused and results-oriented; will collaborate with all areas across the company to ensure the timely completion of deliverables required to meet the goals of this position.
This position requires a hard-working, ambitious and creative individual, with excellent communication skills. Individuals will also possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and have experience managing and growing comprehensive and profitable training programs.
Develop the annual training strategy and manage its execution.
Identify, develop and implement revenue generating training opportunities. Develop the annual budget, quarterly forecasting, weekly P&L reporting. Responsible for the delivery of revenue and profit targets. Responsible for the quality of all classroom and technology-based training and development activities, including needs assessment, curriculum development, course design/planning and logistics, content delivery, and related training materials needed to promote effective use of Courion?s product suite. Manages the implementation of training programs and curriculums, consistent delivery, and on-going improvement of training programs throughout US, EMEA and India.
Align with Product Management to design, develop, and implement training programs for products including curriculum outline, documentation, and delivery for customers and partners. Coordinate with Engineering and Product Management to ensure that training solutions are appropriately embedded in both license and SaaS offerings.
Work closely with the support and implementation teams to identify areas of improvement in product training.
Develop and/or use assessment and evaluation tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs/materials. Reviews participant feedback. Shares evaluation feedback and results with senior level management, with recommendations for improvement in support of making a positive impact on job performance and meeting business need.
Identify needs and reviews recommendations for utilizing outside resources. Obtains necessary approvals, sources vendors, and oversees quality of products and services delivered.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to training staff. Evaluates performance of staff by establishing objectives and measurements; provides constructive feedback on a regular basis. Manages salary and department budget allocations within SBU and Corporate guidelines. Provides direction regarding expense management.
Communicate training and development team standards and methodology, and ensures compliance across all training staff. Ensures training programs are implemented effectively, efficiently, and according to relevant quality standards. Identifies and presents recommendations regarding training and development resource needs.
Manage a calendar of training classes, assist sales with RFP responses related to training, and maintain the Training website for customers and partners.
Ensure selected media and methodologies are aligned with audience learning styles, nature of training being delivered, audience location, point within the learning process, etc., within the context of business needs and constraints.
Ensure effective utilization of the Courion Learning Center (CLC), to leverage its functionality and to maintain an accurate and current record of all training received.
Escalate customer issues received during training sessions to support for follow-up.
Develop and maintain knowledge of Courion?s product suite. Remain current with educational technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Advanced degree in training and development highly preferred.
8+ years software training experience. Minimally 3 years hands on training experience and 5 years training management experience.
Functional understanding and practical knowledge of software systems is required. Experience with IT security and access risk management solutions is preferred.
Working knowledge of instructional design; with a good understanding of adult learning. Advanced knowledge of department duties, responsibilities and procedures for audience groups being supported by training staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong project management, leadership, and team building skills.
Prior experience implementing and maintaining technology-based training/distance learning programs for a geographically dispersed workforce preferred strongly preferred.
Prior experience with e-Learning tools and learning management systems strongly preferred.
Hands on P&L experience and a track record of establishing and meeting financial goals.
