Job Description

Come run one of our top notch R&D teams. We use the latest Microsoft development tools with a focus on C# and .Net technologies. As the Manager of Engineering, you will be responsible for the overall execution and success of your team.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:





Key Responsibilities

Engage in hands-on and in-depth design, analysis, review of software development and testing
Manage software engineering and testing schedules
Work with Product Managers to fulfill product vision and release timelines
Track all project timelines to ensure the deliverables meet requirements
Manage project expectations in collaboration with the project team
Provide leadership to the software engineering and quality assurance team
Provide sound decision making for software engineering and product development, sensitive to the constraints and needs of the business
Communicate project requirements to project team
Discuss project scope with all stakeholders
Identify project risks and take steps to mitigate them
Define criteria for the success of the project and communicate it to all stakeholders
Motivate and supervise project team members (including in-house and remote contractors)
Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities

Required Experience

Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Broad understanding of the Development and QA process
10+ years of recent Dev/QA experience
Experience in delivering 3-tier commercial software applications
Ability to assist leads in the development of task durations and schedules
Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision as well as in a team environment
Strong written and verbal skills
