The EIM Manager is primarily responsible for the management, collaboration, and coordination of McLaren OnAir managed services application support for McLaren Document Control Services and Customer OnAir deployments. This roll will also work with Data Center Operations regarding infrastructure performance and day-to-day operations to ensure SLAs conformance along with being a liaison into the McLaren Professional Services, Product Management, and Idox Engineering groups.
Other Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Actively liaise with McLaren Document Control Services supporting McLaren OnAir deployments and customers, McLaren Professional Services, Product Management, Idox Engineering, and McLaren Pre-Sales.
Utilize cross company synergies, coordinate, deliver and maintain:
Data Centre Operations SLA's, DR, Backup and Recovery Plans, Security conformance
McLaren Customer Experience and McLaren Support SLAs
Feedback to McLaren Product Management to deliver common features and security
Feedback to McLaren Professional Services on solutions and delivery
Pre-Sales demonstration EIM environments and support for Proof of Concept environments
Minimum of 10 years of experience as an engineering application manager, lead document controller, or managing customer implementation of McLaren Software solutions.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, Master's degree preferred
Key Knowledge & Skills
Delivery of engineering solutions encompassing infrastructure, packaged software, custom application development, business process improvement and culture change across a company experiencing both organic and acquisition growth
Advanced functional understanding of McLaren product range, including ECM platforms and associated engineering business processes
Strong engineering business knowledge with strength in document control
Technical engineering application design background (Client/server, web, B2B, web services)
Working knowledge of the following: cross company synergy implementation, client relationship management, project management, engineering business process re-engineering, and implementation of large-scale software systems, with complex technical engineering solution design
6-8 years of experience of one or more of the following: Content and Document Management, Engineering Document Management, workflow or knowledge management, Engineering Data and Information management, CAD management
Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation skills
