REPORTS TO: Vice President, Member Services
Exclusive Resorts is seeking an Inventory Manager. The primary focus of this position is to maximize the amount of days purchased by optimizing member usage of all available residential inventory. This position will be responsible for increasing satisfaction and making membership use more flexible. This individual will possess a demonstrated balance between analytics focusing on revenue/inventory management combined with a creative, marketing focus that gives members reasons to want to travel to places that are traditionally and/or seasonally unoccupied.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strategic direction to optimize existing inventory to ensure maximum membership usage
Create incentives to maximize membership days purchased
Analyze historical data, such as occupancy trends and usage patterns
Design, implement and track impact of special promotions to support low-demand periods
Communicate effectively to Marketing and Member Services impacted by revenue management decisions
Partners with Marketing Team to develop promotion ideas and themes to drive occupancy, including member communication, tailoring of messages to appropriate member base using segmentation, contributes ideas on creative execution / promotions, reviews communication prior to going out to members and supervises, tracks and reports results to ensure success of individual campaigns
Work with Business Intelligence to understand member behavior as determined by geography, family size, age, etc.
Responsible for improving communication and knowledge regarding available travel opportunities within the Club both internally and with membership base
Performs any other duties that may come up as the role develops
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong understanding of supply/demand models
Revenue/Yield Management experience in the hospitality sector
Must be a self-driven, goal oriented, strong multi-tasker with superior organization and leadership skills.
This position is very hands on and the right individual will be a self-starter comfortable in a very fast paced and innovative environment.
A successful track record of moving occupancy is critical.
Proven creative marketing background driven by detailed analytics; related experience in hospitality or luxury preferred
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with PowerPoint
In depth knowledge of revenue management systems - Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics a plus
Strong customer service and/or client relations required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player focused on the goals and results of the team with a high level of initiative
Experience with interacting with sophisticated travelers and high-end clientele preferred
Experience within other functional areas of hospitality operations a plus
