MANAGER OF LOGISTIC OPERATIONS Talyst

Responsible for materials and other items from established supply chain agreements in place. Manage inventory records, materials inventory stock levels and regular reporting of status to leadership, for all inventory locations. Manage coordination of logistical movement of material for internal and external customers.
Plan and coordinate material availability to optimize inventory turns. Develop and report to management on a periodic basis for inventory performance and on time delivery goals and objectives.
Partner closely with internal team members (Implementation, Finance, etc) to ensure broad communication and transparency for customer deliverables, inventory control levels, vendor payments and procurement.
Maintain company master schedule and coordinate equipment deliveries to meet installation schedules.
Regularly communicate with vendors to manage Talyst inventory needs and expectations.
Develop material requisitions of all required products to fill production delivery schedules as specified by Talyst installation teams
Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents in order to assess supply needs.
Verify inventory integrity through cycle counting and reconcile discrepancies. Make recommendations on adjustments as necessary.
Coordinate with suppliers on end of life availability on current released parts and notify Engineering of findings.
Support and promote the Talyst values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
Attend to other initiatives and goals as assigned.
Bachelor?s Degree in manufacturing planning and control or equivalent experience
5+ years? experience in a fast paced, inventory based environment
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Working knowledge of MRP ERP planning and control system
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other common office tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Past experience utilizing MAS 500 planning and control system a plus
Success in mentoring and coaching others in a professional environment and effectively motivating and managing a remote team.
Experience working in a goal oriented, delivery focused, and dynamic environment.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
