REQUIISTION #: AO7321 Manager of Product Marketing
Product Marketing Expertise ? Provide subject matter expertise for internal and external communications, represent AOptix as a subject matter expert with customers, analysts, media, and in industry organizations.
Sales Tools & Content Generation ? Create content for whitepapers, case studies & other technical content, help develop executive messaging and presentations
Competitive Intelligence & Market Research - Create & maintain Competitive Intelligence package, and ?Key Attack? sheets on top competitors. Monitor industry information and published research for useful content to distribute to Sales and Executive teams.
Lead Generation & Campaign Expertise - Generate Qualified Leads through well thought out campaigns including Webinars, Integrated Marketing Campaigns, Content-Driven Campaigns, and by any other means necessary to fill the sales pipeline.
Sales Enablement - Own the Marketing-Sales relationship. Ensure alignment on Funnel and Lead Qualifications. Enable Channels to be successful through execution of strong Channel Marketing Strategy
Marketing Metrics Optimization ? Analyze metrics and recommend tactical and strategic changes to improve based on week over week results.
Thought Leadership Initiatives ? Create and execute strategy to use Blogging, Analysts Relationships, Social Media, Articles and other avenues to increase the AOptix Thought Leadership position in the eyes of customers and industry.
Responsibilities may evolve based on company needs and may expand beyond those listed above.
BA/BS in marketing or business related fields, or BS in engineering related field plus MBA.
10-15 years of high-tech marketing experience, including these areas: product marketing, channel marketing, team management, marketing communications, lead generation, social and online media, and developing a presence at trade shows.
Experience in marketing telecommunications hardware or similarly highly-technical products is required.
Deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, with ability to quickly grasp and then communication complex and highly-technical concepts.
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, direct experience with crafting whitepapers, case studies, and other highly-technical product marketing content.
In-depth knowledge of go-to-market strategy, lead generation strategy, sales enablement, and, with demonstrated strength in building and developing partner marketing relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship abilities, with ability to develop strong relationships and coordinate activities across sales and marketing functions.
Experience in the following areas is also advantageous: Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, Marketing Metrics Optimization, Blogging, Thought Leadership campaigns, Channel Marketing.
Strong presentation, organizational and project management skills. A keen sense of humor is a definite plus, high energy / personal drive is a must.
Excellent follow-through and execution skills, enjoys a high growth environment, understand the "right" level of process to apply to new situations, able to be flexible and accommodate change.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (e.g. Shift-Working)
- Minimal travel maybe required
- Working Hours: 8 am ? 5pm, may require after work hours and/or weekends based on project needs.
